Tip #13: Use a profile picture

First impressions are made in the first seven seconds.  Using an updated profile photo is an easy way to connect and build rapport with students you don't see regularly. Students in your online and hybrid classes may not get to meet you in person, so having a professional photo will help humanize you in the virtual environment.
